If You're Feeling Sinister, by Belle & Sebastian

It's pretty good really, if you look past the campy guitar and the unfortunate lisp.

I mean. Come on. "succethful"?

He tends to go flat at times as well.

Ah well. It's a very good break from Radiohead 24/7 (courtesy of my brother.) It reminds me of Simon and Garfunkel (whom I adore), although the latter arguably have better voices. Something to tide me over till I track down albums by the Postal Service, Sigur Ros or Dogs.

...

"She was into S and M and bible study's not everyone's cup of tea she would admit to me, a cup of tea she would admit to no one."

A line from the title track, "If you're feeling Sinister". He is definitely forgiven for the lithp.

Dance, dance, dance

Nananananananananana, katamari damaCYYYYY

Anyway.

Prom tonight! (Well technically, last night) It was alright, nothing special. Company good, Cake good, music bad. Very bad. I looked like a guy and was proud of it.

No one is catching me wearing a dress. Ever. Even if it's Chinese New Year.

Things have been bouncing around in my skull for a bit. I'll see how they work out.

One notices that I only write long, lucid entries when I'm feeling unhappy. Take this entry as a good sign.

I do not understand why I have to colour and label parts of the Globe Theatre for Grade 9 (Sec 3) English.

It is both infuriating and sadly funny at the same time.

There is a block in my head. The words aren't coming out the same way they used to. I have not written anything that I am remotely happy with.

Come soon June, I am getting sick of smoggy Shanghai and it's erratic weather.
